A Strong Network of Engaged Families

As a family school, we are fortunate to have a committed parent body that contributes actively and passionately to our community all year round. We recognise and value the importance of having a robust parent community that trusts us and shares our vision for continuous development and improvement in and beyond our school walls.

Parent Teacher Association

The Parent Teacher Association (PTA) represents different areas of our school. Its role is to strengthen our school community by coordinating efforts to this end by our teachers, parents and student body. The PTA has one or more Chairpersons who coordinate and guide the group’s activities and aims to achieve the following three objectives:

  • Develop initiatives that build and maintain community spirit at both the class and whole-school level

  • Provide support to new families joining our community

  • Collaborate with and support school leadership to devise strategies for resolving any major issues that are pertinent to the school community.

The PTA is free to appoint special committees for events or issues as and when necessary, in agreement with the Principal, to achieve these objectives. The PTA and school leadership team meet 4-5 times per year to discuss and agree on proposed actions.

Parent Ambassadors

Each class elects a parent representative who addresses the school leadership team on their behalf on whole-class issues.
